Global Director Business Development at The International Baccalaureate accountable for expanding the IB footprint globally through widening the spread of IB programmes in existing and newly interested schools, creating and maintaining strategic partnerships and community relationships (advisory councils, IB associations and teachers’ networks). He also oversees the development and delivery of all IB global conferences and the recognition of IB programmes in the various regions and countries.
Before joining the IB, Haif was the CEO of the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, a professional institution bringing highly specialized, quality professional development experiences for teachers and a strategic partner of the IB. Throughout his career he also worked on education reform and technology in large education projects.
He holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Birmingham, an executive management diploma from INSEAD and a certificate of participation in the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
