Sheila Bauer is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of A Better Way to College (ABWC), an innovative new program that provides high school students the opportunity to take real college courses, taught by real professors, for real college credit, allowing students to complete a year of college while still in high school and to bypass the broken college admissions process. A serial entrepreneur, Ms. Bauer’s work has been at the intersection of education and student wellness, finding ways to bring innovative programs to students while improving outcomes for students and families. She has served in a variety of board-level and consulting projects with leading colleges, and was on the board of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention.

Passionate about quality service and student success, Ms. Bauer shaped her commitment to service during her time with the Ritz-Carlton. Ms. Bauer received her undergraduate education at Cornell University (Nolan School of Hotel Administration at the SC Johnson College of Business) where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
